A Contemplative Service for Healing and Hope

Presented by Spirit of Sophia and Crescent Hill Presbyterian Church

These contemplative services will be offered on a quarterly basis in 2024. More information to follow.

Spirit of Sophia and Crescent Hill Presbyterian Church invite you to a Taize service for healing and hope. This brief service is based on the Taize tradition of readings, prayers, silence, and song. All are welcome to this time for resting in a spirit of comfort and hope amidst the grief and busyness that often accompanies our lives.

Crescent Hill Presbyterian Church has ample street parking on Crescent Ave. and Westminister Court – and a parking lot behind the church, which you will find by turning onto Westminister Court. There is a ramp as well as stairs that takes you into the front of the sanctuary of the small stone church. During this service there will be a time for anointing of oil, lighting candles for loved ones (including oneself) and to request individual prayers – if you choose. Musicians will be a piano player and cantor to lead us in song.
