Loss is an inevitable part of life. However, no one could imagine the magnitude and depth of loss during the last 18 months of the pandemic that confront us even now as we move back into community. Rituals will be offered to acknowledge and sit with our losses, and invite us to move toward hope and healing. We will share sacred space with beloved community using prayer, guided meditation, poetry, silence, journaling, and music. (Instrumental music will be provided by Debbie Dierks on Piano and Wayne Krigger on Cello.) Please plan to bring your journal and pen. NOTE: This will be a service of solace: we will write our losses and hopes in silence. There will be no singing, no talking among the participants. Only the liturgists will speak behind an altar. You will receive a reminder and any updated information prior to the program.

Please review Spirit of Sophia’s Updated Covid-19 policy: Because we will be indoors, masks are required and there will be a registration table to show proof of being fully vaccinated OR proof of a negative Covid-19 test taken within 72 hours of the event. We will leave as much space as feasible between chairs. Maximum number of participants: 28.
While this service is offered by Spirit of Sophia free of charge, a basket for free-will offerings will be available.

Registration/Waiver must be completed by all participants on-line prior to the program:
