“Stories have to be told or they die, and when they die, we can’t remember who we are or why we’re here.” ~Sue Monk Kidd~

If you have a story to tell, this writing workshop is for you. Write about people who have made a difference. Write about your world, as you re-imagine it. Write short memoir, fiction, poetry or essay. Embrace your natural creativity. Meet your muse! All skill levels are welcome.

Unsure if this writing workshop is for you? Join Kim and curious Kentucky Women Veterans for a 30-minute question & answer session on Wednesday, September 28th at 6:00 pm Eastern Time.

Additional Information: Kimberly Crum, writer, editor, and writing instructor will lead this five-week workshop to guide Kentucky women veterans who would like to write stories or poems (or both.) Participants will receive weekly writing prompts to complete at home, as well as short readings that illustrate aspects of the writing craft.  Writing prompts allow participants to begin new work that they can read aloud (optional) to this small writing community. Participants will create first drafts, which they will then be able to revise.  Max:  12 participants

Registration is required for both the Q&A on September 28th and the five-week course starting October 5th. Your are welcome to attend one or both! You can sign up for just the Q&A if you are unsure if this course is for you – AND if you are registering for the course and still want to ask questions and meet Kim!

Zoom link for Q&A will be sent 2 days prior to the Q&A.  Residing in Kentucky and proof of veteran status  will be required for those who choose to join the 5 session course.
