The making of an old soul takes a lifetime of psychological and spiritual development, with plenty of pitfalls and faux arrivals challenging even the most dedicated among us along the way. Given the state of the world, disappointments with family and friends, physical challenges and all manner of age-related loss, how are you to break through the last remaining resistances and blind spots to nevertheless fulfill life’s promise?

This interactive online retreat, led by author Dr. Carol Orsborn, is situated on the intersection of adult and spiritual development. Dr. Orsborn draws upon the work of a wide range of scholars and mystics from Erik Erikson and Carl Jung to Ram Dass and Pema Chodron. Through a gentle weaving together of life stage theory, journaling and group discussion, we will identify where the cutting edge of your conscious aging is taking you and after a lifetime of seeking how to at last reap the harvest deserve. 

This program will be recorded and available on-line for 30 days for registered participants to view.

About Carol Orsborn, Ph.D.

Dr. Carol Orsborn is the best-selling author of over 35 books including her most recent book The Making of an Old Soul: Aging as the Fulfillment of Life’s Promise.  Her other best-sellers include Older, Wiser, Fiercer: The Wisdom Collection  and 2015 Gold Nautilus Book Award winner in the category of Consciously Aging: The Spirituality of Age: A Seeker’s Guide to Growing Older (with Robert L. Weber, Ph.D.) She founded the Sage-ing Book Club run in conjunction with the leading organization in the field Sage-ing International.

Dr. Orsborn received her Masters of Theological Studies and Doctorate in History and Critical Theory of Religion from Vanderbilt University with post-graduate work in Spiritual Counseling at the New Seminary in Manhattan. She is an internationally-recognized thought leader on the fulfillment of the human potential through all life stages.
